It is promoted for use in adults with osteoarthritis ('wear-and-tear' of the joints). This medical food may help reduce inflammation in affected joints. This product has not been shown to help rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA), or other inflammatory conditions. It is not helpful for acute or chronic pain.This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions. How should I use this medicine?Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Do not cut, crush, or chew.
